SINGLE
GIRDER CRANE STEEL : Structural steels , confirming to IS-226 are used in the manufacturing of the crane STRUCTURE : BRIDGE GIRDER :The bridge girder is plate welded box type construction or std. joist/ channel in the manufacturing. Bridge is designed to sustain stresses creating due to vertical & lateral forces with impact. END CARRIAGE : The end carriages are fabricated from rolled steel section with suitable diaphragms & stiffeners to give strong construction. Rubber buffers are provided on both sides of end carriages to absorb jerks. GEAR BOX : The entire gear boxes are made of accurate hob cut helical / spur gears & pinions having hardness 250 to 350 BHN made from carbon alloy steel. All gears & pinions running on antifriction type ball / roller bearings in totally enclosed oil bath giving constant splash lubrication. The helical / Spur gear designed for adequate strength and optimum wear resistance for smooth operation & long life. LONG TRAVEL DRIVE ARRANGEMENT : Twin / single motor drive arrangement will be provided for L.T. motion, which contains helical / spur gear boxes, brakes etc. and coupled together. MOTORS : The motors are used specially crane duty suitable for frequent starting , reversing & braking in accordance with IS-325. Motors are totally enclosed in dust proof construction foot / flange mounted TESC / TEFC , Sq. cage motors for hoisting, CT & LT motions. LIMIT SWITCH : Safety limit switches for
stoppers will be provided to prevent over traveling of hoisting &
Cross travel motions. MOTORS : Bharat Bijlee / Crompton / Kirloskar / Megha / Delta or equivalent make motors for hoisting, CT & LT motions BRAKE : Bhartia cutler hammer/ SOC/ electromag/ Pethe or equivalent make CONTACTORS : Siemens / L&T / T.C. make contactors & overload relays. LIMIT SWITCH : Electromag / SOC / Bohmen / Equivalent
